Lisa Herceg has been acting in Chicago theater and film since 1994. A strong leading and character actor with a resonant voice and chops in both comedy and drama, she is a native of South Bend, Indiana. At age four she horrified her mother by pointing to Ethel Merman on a variety show and saying, "I want to be like her." Despite the best efforts of her parents, who hoped their daughter would be a doctor, Lisa graduated with a degree in Theater Arts from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Lisa has worked with the Steppenwolf Garage Rep program and with companies such as Stage Left Theatre, Babes With Blades Theatre Company, Organic Theatre Company, Pride Films & Plays, Raven Theatre, BoHo Theatre, Curious Theatre Branch, New Lincoln Theater, the side project, and Bailiwick Repertory Theatre. Film productions have included work with Cloak and Dagger Productions, Softcage Films, Masters of the Obvious Films, Blue Bassoon Pictures, Fearless Flicks, and Films by Carter.
